Written to honor the sacrifices of Filipino nannies who work abroad and leave their children behind. This book is intended to keep Filipino nannies and their children together, the letters within the pages intended to keep them connected, and the words intended to keep them close. This book is also for all mothers and children who know or who have known separation in whichever way it took form and is intended to keep all separated mothers and children close, providing a mode of keeping the strength of their bond preserved while awaiting their reunion.
BRIEF
A Filipino that grew up in Canada, client found inspiration from stories as told by her mom and her friends about the lives they lived in the Philippines. Client wanted to give the Philippines love and representation for this book and in turn also be able to connect more with her mother. Client wanted to feature a lot of iconic filipino culture as well as different places in the Philippines as well as including a few bits of their own life in the book. Client wanted to represent as many mothers and children as well, featuring moms of all ages and different Filipino features.
