Story
The article focuses on several literary stories happening in the city in November 2023. In particular, Books by the Banks is a book festival that features authors and illustrators through signings, panel discussions, and activities.
Brief
Illustrate a view of Cincinnati from the river with oversized literary elements (books, bookmarks, pens, etc) throughout the scene. I wanted to make the illustration more identifiable to the city so I added familiar buildings such as the Great American Tower, Museum Center, the art museum, the flying pig as a big symbol in Cincinnati as they have statues of it all over the city.
